Whyte Estate Chardonnay 2025
Case Buys Only | 12 x 750ml
Whyte Estate Chardonnay brings a smart balance of Marlborough freshness and gently creamy oak character. White peach, lemon and nectarine lead the way, joined by toasted spice, raw almond and a subtle flinty note. The palate has a smooth, rounded texture, but juicy acidity keeps everything lively and dry through the finish. Made with Theo Giesen at the helm, it offers plenty of Chardonnay flavour without becoming heavy or overworked. A versatile bottle for roast chicken, grilled fish, creamy pasta or simply settling in after a long day.
What the winery says:
Pale lemon in colour, with citrus, white peach and toasty, flinty aromas. The wine was fermented across stainless steel tanks, French oak hogsheads and German oak fuders, using selected yeasts to emphasise fruit intensity, texture and complexity. Partial malolactic fermentation adds creaminess, while eight months of maturation in tank on lees and in oak builds depth. Layers of white stone fruit and toasted spice are balanced by juicy natural acidity, leading to a refreshing finish.
