What the winery says:

The wine is made from Montepulciano grown in Abruzzo. The grapes are gently pressed before the must spends around a week on skins in stainless steel, followed by malolactic fermentation to soften the wine's acidity and round out the palate. It is then matured in large Slavonian oak casks. The style is described as warm ruby-red, with wild berry and bitter almond aromas, a smooth, full-bodied palate and a persistent finish.
