Terra Sancta Jackson's Block Pinot Noir is perfumed, poised and beautifully polished; a single-block Bannockburn Pinot Noir that layers plum and red berry fruit with florals, spice and a touch of cedar. Silky tannins keep everything refined, while the depth of fruit gives it plenty of presence without tipping into heaviness. Jackson's Block sits on Terra Sancta's Felton Road estate, with vines planted in 1991 and 1995 on their original rootstock. It is a compelling choice for anyone who enjoys Central Otago Pinot with both fragrance and structure. Give it some air and serve alongside lamb, mushrooms or a slow Sunday dinner.

What the winery says:

Jackson's Block is organically farmed using no-till and regenerative practices, with lake-bed loam, quartz and schist gravel soils and a strong presence of Pinot Noir clone 777. The 2022 fruit was handpicked, destemmed and fermented with native yeast, then pressed and transferred to barrel after 31 days, with approximately 20% new French oak. The wine was made without additives, bottled with minimal sulphur and was neither fined nor filtered. Terra Sancta describes florals, plums, red berries, spice and cedar, together with a refined mouthfeel and silky tannins. Cellaring is recommended through to 2032, and decanting before serving is advised.
