Ruggeri Santo Stefano Prosecco DOCG NV

Ruggeri Santo Stefano Prosecco DOCG is a polished, gently rounded Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore with fine, persistent bubbles and an inviting mix of lemon blossom, ripe apple and Williams pear. Freshness keeps the palate lively and balanced, making this an easy match for afternoon celebrations, fruit-based desserts, almond biscuits or a slice of panettone.

What the winery says:

Made from a minimum of 85% Glera, with up to 15% other local white varieties, the fruit comes from the hills of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano. The wine is fermented off the skins at a controlled 16°C, followed by a slow second fermentation in large sealed vats at 14-15°C. Ruggeri describes an intense straw-yellow colour, fine continuous perlage, delicate aromas and balanced freshness, with approximately 28 g/L residual sugar and 11% alcohol.
