Nugan Third Generation Chardonnay 2025

Nugan Third Generation Chardonnay is a bright, fruit-forward Victorian Chardonnay with white peach, nectarine and citrus at the centre, supported by roasted cashew, allspice and a measured touch of French oak. It has plenty of flavour for classic Chardonnay drinkers while remaining fresh, approachable and easy to enjoy. The Third Generation label reflects the Nugan family's long-running Australian wine story, now carried forward by the founders' grandson, Matthew. A versatile choice for relaxed gatherings or weeknight dinners, especially alongside roast chicken, creamy pasta, crispy salmon or other seafood dishes.

What the winery says:

The 2025 wine comes from Victoria and sits at 13.0% alcohol. Selected Chardonnay parcels were crushed, lightly pressed and clarified before cool fermentation to retain their delicate fruit character. French oak was present during fermentation, contributing spice and complexity. Pale straw with a youthful green hue, it offers white peach and nectarine compote aromas with roasted nuts and allspice, followed by bright citrus, peach and roasted cashew flavours on the palate.
