Moutard Blanc de Blancs Methode Traditionnelle NV
Moutard Blanc de Blancs Methode Traditionnelle brings a little French sparkling finesse to the table without the Champagne price tag. Made entirely from Chardonnay grown in Burgundy, just outside the Champagne region, this lively fizz offers fresh green apple, lemon zest, white flowers and a hint of peach, with delicate bubbles and a subtle touch of bready complexity. Crisp acidity and a clean, refreshing finish keep everything beautifully balanced. The Moutard family has generations of Champagne-making experience, and that expertise shines through in this approachable, elegant sparkling wine. Perfect for an aperitif, a plate of fresh oysters or simply making an ordinary evening feel a bit more festive.
What the winery says:
Produced by the Moutard family from 100% Chardonnay grown around Tonnerre in northern Burgundy, near Chablis. The vineyards benefit from clay-limestone soils, while traditional bottle fermentation creates the wine's fine, persistent bubbles. The wine undergoes maturation on its lees, developing gentle complexity alongside its fresh fruit character. Aromas of green apple, citrus and delicate florals lead to a crisp, lively palate with subtle bread-like notes, balanced acidity and a clean finish. A versatile French sparkling wine equally suited to celebrations, seafood and relaxed everyday enjoyment.
