Momo Pinot Noir 2024
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml | $4.99 Delivery
Momo Pinot Noir is Marlborough Pinot with a bright, dark-fruited pulse: ripe cherry and plum lead the way, backed by juicy berry freshness, supple texture and fine tannins. This 2024 comes from the Raupo vineyard in the Omaka Valley, where organically grown Pinot Noir is handled with a light touch to keep the fruit clear and lively. There's enough concentration for proper dinner duty, but the silky shape keeps it very easy to enjoy. Try it lightly cool with roast duck, grilled salmon or mushroom risotto. If you like Pinot with generous fruit, freshness and an elegant feel without becoming heavy, Momo is a very smart place to land.
What the winery says:
The 2024 is 100% Pinot Noir from the Raupo vineyard in Marlborough's Omaka Valley, on mixed alluvial silt, gravel and clay soils. The vineyard is certified organic in the USA and by BioGro NZ. Harvested in March 2024, the fruit was destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeast in small open-top vessels for 21 to 28 days, with twice-daily plunging. After pressing it completed natural malolactic fermentation, then aged for six months before blending and bottling. The wine is vegan friendly, with 13.5% alcohol and no residual sugar. The winemaker describes dark cherry and ripe plum fruit with a concentrated yet elegant, supple and silky palate.
