Jules Taylor Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2026
Jules Taylor Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc delivers vibrant citrus and passionfruit with an aromatic lift of lemongrass and Vietnamese mint. The 2026 release is bone-dry and concentrated, layering ripe citrus, greengage plum, and tropical fruit with fresh herbal flavours. Bright, mouthwatering acidity carries those flavours into a long finish, giving the wine plenty of energy alongside its generous fruit. This is an expressive Marlborough Sauvignon for the lunch table, particularly with fresh seafood or dishes featuring citrus and herbs. Try it with kingfish crudo tostadas, or keep things simple with sourdough, good olive oil, and dukkah.
What the winery says:
The 2026 fruit was picked between 12 March and 5 April, then fermented in stainless steel with selected yeasts. A cooler summer slowed ripening, allowing flavours to develop intensity. Individually harvested vineyard parcels were fermented at cool temperatures to preserve their aromas, briefly rested on yeast lees, and blended to bring together Marlborough’s different Sauvignon Blanc expressions.

The palate is zippy and fresh, a shooting star of acidity amidst an intriguing creamy-pithy texture combo with a wild edge to the long herb-flecked citrus finish that makes the mouth water for more.”

“A wine of fruit purity and freshness, minerality and power. Aromas and flavours of red apple and pink grapefruit, sweet hay and pineapple, stones and clay, dried herb and sage. A backbone of acidity, saline and core fruit flavours. A wine with persistent flavours and textures. Another delicious wine from Jules Taylor with best drinking from 2025 through 2029.”
