Hunter's Rose 2025

Hunter's Rosé is a vibrant, fruit-driven Marlborough Rosé from one of New Zealand's most respected family-owned wineries. Crafted from a blend of Pinot Noir and Gewürztraminer, the 2025 vintage is bursting with fresh strawberry, juicy cherry and ripe nectarine, complemented by delicate floral aromas and hints of peach. The palate is lively and beautifully balanced, with generous fruit flavours, a soft, creamy texture and a refreshing finish. There's a lovely touch of richness here that makes it particularly enjoyable on its own, while its bright fruit character pairs brilliantly with seafood, fresh salads, Mediterranean dishes or a sunny afternoon with friends.

What the winery says:

The 2025 vintage combines Pinot Noir and Gewürztraminer, with each variety contributing its own distinctive character. Grapes were harvested in the cool of the morning, with the Pinot Noir spending 24 hours on skins to develop its delicate pink colour before pressing. The varieties were fermented separately before blending and estate bottling in July 2025. Warm, dry conditions towards the end of the growing season helped the fruit reach excellent ripeness. The resulting wine shows expressive strawberry, floral and nectarine aromas, followed by fresh peach and cherry flavours, a vibrant palate and a full, creamy finish.
