Horizon Du Sud Pinot Noir is a supple, fruit-led red from the Languedoc, offering fresh red berry aromas, a flicker of spice and a rounded, approachable palate. Made entirely from Pinot Noir selected from France's Mediterranean south, it has the grape's bright, fragrant appeal without becoming overly delicate or fussy. This is relaxed, versatile drinking for anyone after an easy southern French red with plenty of charm. Pour it alongside roast chicken, pork sausages, mushroom pasta or a generous charcuterie board, and consider serving it lightly cool in warmer weather.
What the winery says:
The 2021 is made from carefully selected Pinot Noir sourced from the Mediterranean region. The wine undergoes direct pressing before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, followed by six months of maturation before bottling to preserve its fresh-fruit character. Ruby red in the glass, it has a fine bouquet of fresh red berries and spice, leading to a frank, rounded palate.
