Giesen sources this Riesling from Marlborough and Waipara, two cool-climate regions that contribute complementary character to the blend. The fruit is pressed and fermented in stainless steel, using selected yeasts to highlight each parcel. Fermentation is stopped before the wine is fully dry, retaining natural sweetness while preserving fresh acidity and the wine's lively off-dry balance. It then rests on light lees until bottling to help maintain flavour intensity. Expect juicy lime and mandarin, floral lift and a crisp finish, with spicy food a particularly good match.
