Falconhead Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2025
Falconhead Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant, fruit-packed Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, bursting with fresh passionfruit, juicy mango and sweet grapefruit, alongside hints of green apple and fresh herbs. The palate is crisp and lively, with generous tropical fruit flavours, a lovely citrus tang and a subtle mineral edge. Bright acidity keeps everything beautifully refreshing, leading to a clean, mouthwatering finish that invites another sip. Made from fruit grown at the Kuranui Vineyard, this is a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with plenty of character and freshness. Perfect for sunny afternoons, fresh seafood, garlic prawns or a platter of goat's cheese and summer salads.
What the winery says:
Grapes were harvested from the Kuranui Vineyard in Marlborough and transported to a specialist facility for pressing and settling. The clarified juice was then taken to the winery in Katikati, where it was fermented in stainless steel tanks using selected yeast strains to preserve its fresh fruit character. Following fermentation, the wine was blended, stabilised, fined and bottled in August 2025. The winery describes ripe tropical fruit and herbal aromas, with fresh citrus flavours, lively acidity and a refreshing saline finish.
