Falconhead Marlborough Pinot Noir 2023

Falconhead Marlborough Pinot Noir is a bright, fruit-led Pinot Noir from Marlborough’s Awatere Valley, offering ripe raspberry, black cherry and a touch of forest floor complexity. Red berry flavours meet gentle spice and subtle oak, with fine tannins and fresh acidity keeping everything beautifully balanced. Medium-bodied and approachable, it has a smooth texture and a lingering red fruit finish. Made from grapes grown at the Kuranui Vineyard, this is an easy-drinking Pinot with enough savoury character to keep things interesting. A great match for roast pork, lamb or mushroom dishes, and equally enjoyable on its own.

What the winery says:

Sourced from the Kuranui Vineyard in Marlborough’s Awatere Valley, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel using selected yeasts. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine spent approximately 12 months maturing in oak before blending, finishing and bottling at the producer’s Katikati winery.
