Domaine des Pasquiers Plan de Dieu Côtes du Rhône Villages is a concentrated, organically grown southern Rhône red from a four-generation family estate based in Sablet. Grenache brings ripe fruit and roundness, while Syrah and Mourvèdre add spice, structure and savoury depth. Full bodied but not cumbersome, it combines the warmth of the Plan de Dieu plateau with enough freshness and polished tannin to remain highly drinkable. A characterful choice for slow-cooked lamb, beef casseroles, grilled meats, sausages or other rustic Mediterranean dishes.

What the winery says:

The 2023 vintage is a blend of 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre. Stewed cherry and darker berry fruit are joined by thyme, garrigue, black pepper and liquorice, leading into a fruity, rounded palate with firm structure and a persistent finish. The vines average around 30 years old and grow on clay and limestone soils covered with rolled pebbles. The grapes were destemmed and vinified separately, with fermentation and skin maceration lasting 25 to 30 days and regular pumping over.
