Deen De Bortoli Shiraz 2020

Deen De Bortoli Shiraz is a full-bodied Australian red created in tribute to Deen De Bortoli and his belief that quality wine should be enjoyed by everyone. Dark berries and blue fruits meet rich chocolate and subtle oak, with generous concentration and mouthcoating tannins carrying the wine through a long, satisfying finish. Twelve months in new and seasoned hogshead barrels adds depth, while a portion retained in stainless steel preserves its vibrant fruit. Vegan friendly and ready to enjoy now, it is an excellent match for steak, barbecued lamb or dark chocolate.

What the winery says:

Deep maroon with bright red hues. Dark fruit aromas lead into a concentrated palate of blue fruits and rich chocolate, supported by coating tannins through the finish. The fruit was harvested in the cool of the late evening, fermented for seven to eight days, then pressed and matured for 12 months in new and older hogshead barrels. Twenty-five percent remained in stainless steel to retain freshness and fruit intensity.
