Decibel Testify Malbec/Syrah is a bold Hawke's Bay red that brings Malbec's generous dark fruit together with Syrah's peppery, savoury lift. Blackberry, blackcurrant and ripe plum lead into violet, liquorice and cracked pepper, with lively acidity and firm, polished tannins keeping the full-bodied palate in shape. Testify is produced only in standout vintages, and this certified organic Gimblett Gravels release offers plenty of depth without becoming heavy-handed. This Malbec-dominant blend combines 80% Malbec with 20% Syrah from certified organic vineyards in the Gimblett Gravels. The wine was fermented in stainless steel, matured for around 18 months in French oak barriques and bottled without filtration. Dry, full-bodied and structured, it delivers concentrated dark fruit, savoury complexity and firm tannins, with enough freshness and depth to reward further cellaring.
