Church Road Hawke's Bay Pinot Gris
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Church Road Hawke's Bay Pinot Gris comes from the Matapiro Vineyard in the cooler, elevated Crownthorpe Terraces sub-region, Church Road's most inland site, where wide temperature swings between day and night help build aromatics and acidity. The nose is generous with ripe pear, peach, rose water and a touch of ginger spice, carrying through to a lush, full-bodied palate. A moderate level of natural sweetness is balanced by gentle acidity, finishing with a last note of ginger spice. Soft and approachable yet still fresh and elegant, it's already drinking beautifully and best enjoyed now rather than cellared, pairing well with seafood, white meats and Southeast Asian-style dishes.
