The 2018 Château La Tour Cordouan is an AOP Médoc blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot, at 13% alcohol. The estate describes a ruby colour with lightly developed brick-toned highlights, followed by a fresh, fruity nose and flavours of fresh fruit on the palate. The oak is well integrated, with the wine beginning brightly on fruit before gradually moving towards smoky notes. The winery recommends enjoying it now for its freshness, paired with roast poultry, beef or mature cheeses.
