Caravan Merlot 2024

Caravan Merlot is a generous, easy-going Australian Merlot from South Eastern Australia, made by John Quarisa. Ripe plum, blackberry and dark raspberry sit at the centre, with touches of chocolate, clove and oak spice bringing extra depth. The palate is medium-bodied, plush and fruit-forward, with rounded tannins and enough oak grip to keep all that ripe fruit in line. Quarisa has built a career around full-flavoured, approachable wines, and this fits the brief nicely. A solid choice for roast lamb, burgers or a barbecue when you want plenty of flavour without a heavy finish.
