The 2022 is 100% Durif, also known as Petite Sirah, with an intense red colour and purple hues. Quarisa describes youthful ripe berry fruit, blackcurrant and plum alongside spicy, toasted vanillin oak. The palate is full-bodied and densely fruited, with the oak integrated into a long, smooth finish. It can be enjoyed now or cellared further, and the winery suggests pairing it with red wine casserole or steak with red onion jam.
