Alto las Rocas Tinto Tempranillo Syrah 2020

Alto Las Rocas Tinto Tempranillo Syrah is a smooth, fruit-forward Spanish red from high-altitude vineyards around Alpera in Castilla-La Mancha. Tempranillo provides ripe fruit and easy-drinking warmth, while Syrah adds darker berry character and extra depth. The 2020 vintage is generous without feeling overly heavy, with moderate structure and an approachable finish suited to everyday drinking. A versatile choice for grilled meats, roast chicken, tomato-based pasta, pizza or mature cheeses.

What the winery says:

Deep, bright ruby red, with aromas of ripe red berries and wild forest fruit. The palate is balanced and fruit driven, showing medium persistence before notes of red fruit and liquorice emerge on the finish. The 2020 blend is 80% Tempranillo and 20% Syrah, grown between 650 and 700 metres above sea level on chalk and limestone soils. The varieties are vinified separately in stainless steel, with controlled maceration used to preserve their fruit and aromatic character.
