Allan Scott Cecilia Rose is a bright, refreshing Marlborough sparkling rosé made entirely from Pinot Noir. Ripe strawberry and raspberry flavours lead the way, supported by focused acidity, lively bubbles and a gently off-dry finish. Its salmon-pink colour and generous summer-fruit character make it an easy choice for celebrations, relaxed lunches or simply adding a little sparkle to the afternoon. Serve well chilled as an aperitif or alongside fresh berries, soft cheeses and light seafood dishes.

What the winery says:

The Pinot Noir grapes are quickly transferred from vineyard to winery, then pressed with brief skin contact to develop the wine's delicate salmon-pink colour. The juice is fermented to dryness before wild malolactic fermentation is encouraged. Secondary fermentation creates the natural effervescence and fine mousse. The finished wine is crisp and mouthwatering, with ripe strawberry and raspberry flavours, 12% alcohol and 9.27 g/l residual sugar. It is also suitable for vegetarian and vegan drinkers.
