30 Mile Cabernet Sauvignon is a generous, fruit-driven Australian Cabernet with cassis, ripe plum and rich black-fruit flavours, lifted by hints of mint and cedar. Fine-grained tannins and well-integrated oak keep everything smooth and approachable, while enough structure sits underneath to make it a very handy dinner-table red. Made by John Quarisa from South Eastern Australian Cabernet Sauvignon, it is built for easy enjoyment without losing the character you want from the variety. Pour it alongside roast lamb, grilled beef or a hearty Sunday dinner and let the dark fruit do the talking.
What the winery says:
The 2022 is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from South Eastern Australia. Fruit was harvested at night at around 13.5 to 14.0 Baume and fermented across a range of vessels. A portion of the wine spent six months in one-year-old and older French and American oak barrels, while the remainder was kept cool to retain fresh fruit character. The finished wine shows fragrant cassis, ripe plum, mint and subtle cedar oak, with rich black fruit, fine-grained tannins and a soft, generous palate. The producer suggests enjoying it with duck or rabbit, either now or with further cellaring.
