Momo Pinot Noir 2023

MOMO Pinot Noir is a vibrant, organically grown Marlborough Pinot Noir from Seresin Estate, offering generous fruit without losing the variety's natural elegance and freshness. Ripe cherry, plum and dark berries are lifted by violet, dried herbs and gentle spice, while firm but finely shaped tannins provide structure through the finish. Fuller and more concentrated than a delicate Pinot style, it remains supple, juicy and easy to enjoy in its youth. A versatile match for roast duck, grilled salmon, mushroom dishes, roast chicken or a relaxed cheese board.

What the winery says:

The 2023 vintage produced concentrated, healthy fruit at Seresin's Raupo Vineyard, with naturally small berries and bunches contributing depth and structure. Certified organic grapes were machine harvested and naturally fermented in small open-top fermenters, with the caps plunged twice daily. After 14 to 21 days, the individual batches were pressed and completed malolactic fermentation. The wine then matured for six months before blending, light filtration and bottling. It is full-bodied yet elegant, supple and fleshy, with lifted cherry and plum aromas, ripe fruit through the palate, firm tannins and a deep structural core.
