Hunters MiruMiru Brut Rose carries Jane Hunter's name on Marlborough's most decorated sparkling label, and this pink expression lives up to it. Made using the traditional method from a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and a touch of Pinot Meunier aged on lees for the best part of two years, it pours a pale salmon pink with a fine, persistent mousse. Expect strawberry, raspberry and a touch of cranberry over a savoury brioche backbone, finishing dry and creamy rather than sweet. MiruMiru means bubbles in te reo Maori, and this is Hunter's flagship expression of them, equally at home marking an occasion or simply because it is a Tuesday.

Hunter's MiruMiru Brut Rose is a traditional method sparkling wine blended predominantly from Pinot Noir with Chardonnay and a small portion of Pinot Meunier, aged on lees for around eighteen months before disgorgement. Hunter's describes it as a wonderfully blush pink wine with aromas of subtle strawberry and raspberry alongside a touch of fresh brioche. MiruMiru, meaning bubbles in te reo Maori, is Jane Hunter's signature sparkling range, first released in the late 1990s and still Hunter's benchmark expression of Marlborough methode traditionelle.
