Rapaura Springs
Rapaura Springs was founded through a partnership between the Neylon and Wiffin families, brought together by their shared history in premium New Zealand produce. The Neylon family had already helped pioneer the country's green-lip mussel export industry before building the largest apple pack house and export operation in Marlborough, and in 1985 they purchased land in the Rapaura and Dillons Point sub-regions, initially growing orchard fruit and establishing a grapevine nursery to supply their own vineyards.
A dedicated winery followed in 2005, with the first vintage released two years later, and Rapaura Springs has since grown into one of Marlborough's ten largest wineries. The Reserve range spans a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, a pale Rosé, a fine Pinot Noir, a textured Pinot Gris and a rounded Chardonnay.
