TED Pinot Noir 2023
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Mount Edward TED Pinot Noir is a supple, fruit-forward Central Otago Pinot Noir made from organically managed estate vineyards. Designed as Mount Edward’s approachable house style, it delivers ripe red berries with fragrant spice, dried herbs and gentle savoury detail. Soft tannins and refreshing acidity keep the medium-bodied palate lively and balanced, while French oak adds subtle shape without overwhelming the fruit. It is an easy introduction to Mount Edward’s minimal-intervention approach and a versatile match for roast chicken, duck, grilled salmon, mushroom dishes or a relaxed cheese board.
What the winery says:
Ruby red in colour, the wine shows aromas of berry fruit, spice, herbs and savoury tones. The palate is supple and filled with red fruit flavours, supported by soft tannins, refreshing acidity and a long finish. The Pinot Noir was sourced from Mount Edward’s estate vineyards, which are managed organically and include lighter soils and younger vines selected for a more fruit-forward expression. The grapes were destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts, then matured in French oak. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration.
