Escarpment Rose 2025
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Escarpment Pinot Rosé is crafted from 100% Martinborough Pinot Noir in a crisp, dry style inspired by the great rosés of Provence. Select parcels were wild-fermented in seasoned French barriques, and the 2025 season's dry, cool-night growing conditions produced fruit of real vibrancy and fragrance - the wine wears a delicate light copper hue and opens with red berries, fresh watermelon and toffee, lifted by a floral perfume and crunchy freshness. On the palate it's pure summer in a glass: juicy berries and cream balanced against bright, crisp acidity, with barrel fermentation and time on lees adding a subtle depth and texture beneath all that vibrancy. The finish is long and properly dry, closer to Provence than to anything sweet.
What the winery says:
This rosé marks Escarpment's exploration of a different expression of Pinot Noir after many years dedicated to full-bodied red wine, choosing rosé as a way to show a fresher, more elegant side of the variety. Crafted to be enjoyed young, it's designed for a warm spring or summer evening - refreshing, easy-drinking and, in the winery's own words, effortlessly moreish.
