What the winery says:
Blood-red in appearance, with aromas of strawberry, red plum, cherry, pressed red rose and a light dried-herb note. The palate delivers bright berry fruit backed by spice and savoury characters, underpinned by fine texture, soft tannins and subtle oak. The wine was made with 10% whole bunches, followed by 21 to 24 days of maceration and malolactic fermentation in tight-grain French oak barriques, including 20% new oak. It matured in barrel for 12 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
