ROHE Blind River Sauvignon Blanc showcases Marlborough's driest, coolest and most wind-swept subregion, its Southern Coast vineyards planted on free-draining stone and clay soils. The wine is vibrant, youthful and fruity, with a tropical core of passionfruit, peach and citrus alongside grapefruit, citrus peel and apple. Crisp and dry, a crunchy, fresh mouthfeel is framed by a firm backbone of acidity and fine lees complexity, with a touch of herb and stony minerality lending real length. Fermented in stainless steel using a mix of warmer and cooler ferments to balance palate weight against freshness, then rested on lees for three months before bottling. Best enjoyed from release through 2027.

Blind River is the driest, coolest and most wind-swept subregion on Marlborough's Southern Coast, its soils a free-draining mix of stone and clay. 2025 was a vintage where patience was rewarded: a warm spring created ideal growing conditions and abundant crop loads, which were carefully thinned to lift fruit quality, while cool January temperatures extended ripening and built palate weight and aromatic intensity. Harvest began in mid-March, working block by block as each site reached optimal ripeness. After gentle pressing, the juice was fermented in stainless steel with selected yeast strains chosen to retain the subregion's unique flavours, with some batches fermented warmer for palate weight and others kept cooler to preserve aromatics and freshness. The best batches were blended and rested on lees for three months prior to bottling.
