Opawa Rosé is bright, dry and just textured enough to offer more than simple summer refreshment. Strawberry, fresh apple and white peach meet almond blossom and a hint of raspberry leaf, with ripe fruit flowing across a smooth palate before a clean, mouth-watering finish. Made from Pinot Noir grown on selected stony sites around the Marlborough winery, it brings together easy charm and a little extra detail. Nicely chilled, this is ready for fresh seafood, light summer dishes or any afternoon that looks like it could run longer than planned.

What the winery says:

Handpicked Pinot Noir is sourced from selected stony vineyard sites close to the winery. The fruit is gently destemmed and pressed to extract its delicate salmon colour, before fermentation in stainless steel. Strawberry, fresh apple and almond blossom lead into mouth-filling ripe fruit and a smooth, textural palate, finishing dry, fresh and moreish.
