Ara starts with a full-strength Sauvignon Blanc from its Marlborough vineyards, then gently removes the alcohol using spinning cone technology at low temperatures before blending back a touch of real Sauvignon Blanc juice for texture. What's left is recognisably Marlborough in character, with the region's usual blackcurrant and fresh herb edge alongside grapefruit and tropical notes. At just 0.5% alcohol and a fraction of the calories of a standard glass, it's built for anyone wanting the taste without the effects, whether that's a sober drive home or simply a lighter option at the table.

Made from full-strength Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with the alcohol gently removed using spinning cone technology at low temperatures to protect the fruit character, then blended with a small amount of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc juice for a fuller, juicier mouthfeel. Expect classic Sauvignon aromas of blackcurrant and fresh herbs, with grapefruit and tropical notes layered with passionfruit and pineapple on the palate, finishing crisp and dry. At around 13 calories per 100ml, it has roughly 75% fewer calories than a standard 12.5% alcohol wine. Best served well chilled.
