Loveblock Organic Marlborough Pinot Gris is a dry, textural single-vineyard Pinot Gris from Loveblock's certified-organic Triangle vineyard in Lower Dashwood, overlooking Marlborough's Awatere Valley. Rockmelon, Nashi pear, citrus and delicate chamomile meet a subtle savoury note and stony minerality, carried by linear acidity into a long, clean finish.
What the winery says:
Pale with golden touches. Elegant rockmelon aromas open into layers of chamomile and citrus. The palate brings prosciutto-wrapped melon, Nashi pear and ripe fruit, with lingering texture, precise acidity and a complex finish marked by wet-stone minerality. The fruit comes entirely from the certified-organic Triangle vineyard at Loveblock Farm, where alluvial silt lies over stone.
