Durvillea Marlborough Pinot Gris 2026
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Durvillea Marlborough Pinot Gris is a dry, polished Pinot Gris with peach, light pear and citrus peel at its centre, lifted by a gentle touch of spice. The medium-bodied palate has a smooth, lightly rounded feel, balanced by fresh acidity and a fine mineral texture that keeps the finish clean and composed. Blended from fruit parcels grown across Marlborough, it is designed as a versatile, food-friendly style rather than an overly rich or sweet expression. Vegan and sustainably certified, it is an easy match for smoked salmon, seafood, roast chicken, fresh salads or egg-based dishes such as quiche.
What the winery says:
The 2026 Pinot Gris is blended from fruit parcels grown across the length and breadth of Marlborough and made in a dry, mineral style. Pale lemon-straw in colour, it shows peach, light pear, citrus peel and a hint of spice on the nose. The medium-bodied palate follows with pear and peach flavours, a mineral texture and a long finish. The winery recommends serving it lightly chilled alongside salads, seafood, poultry and egg dishes, particularly smoked salmon. The wine is vegan and certified under Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand.
What the experts say:
Cameron Douglas MS, 90/100 & Premium (2024 Vintage)
“Aromas of fresh green pears and yellow apple, there’s a gentle white spice and lees quality and on the palate these aromas turn into flavours of the same. Plenty of acidity, a fresh and well made expression, a satin smooth touch, and just dry with deal drinking from day of purchase through 2028.”
