Chateau de Saint Martin
Château de Saint Martin sits on the site of a former wine-growing priory in Taradeau, in the Côtes de Provence, southern France, its name recalling a twelfth-century Romanesque chapel still standing among the ruins of the old medieval village. The Marquis de Villeneuve-Bargemon bought the property in 1740, and it has passed down through the same family, countess to countess, for close to three centuries, now led by eleventh-generation owner Adeline de Barry.
One of the largest and oldest wine estates in Provence, the property produces a wide range of pale, dry rosé under the Côtes de Provence appellation, blended from the classic regional trio of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. Carpe Horam and Rose & Roll extend that long winemaking history into modern, easy-drinking styles of the estate's signature wine.
