Chateau de Roquefort
Château de Roquefort sits in Roquefort-la-Bédoule, between the Sainte-Baume massif and the Calanques, in the Provence region of southern France. The estate passed to the Villeneuve family by marriage in 1812, and Raimond de Villeneuve, who took over management in 1995, converted the vineyards to certified organic and biodynamic farming, building a reputation as one of the region's benchmark natural producers over the past three decades.
The estate's thirty hectares are planted with classic Provençal varieties, including Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan and Vermentino, farmed without chemical inputs across the property's limestone hillsides beneath the surrounding pine forest and scrubland. Bonvivant carries that low-intervention approach into an easy-drinking, everyday rosé, built for straightforward, chilled enjoyment rather than serious cellaring away in a dark corner of the cellar.
