Invivo X SJP Sud De France Rose 2022

Invivo X SJP Sud De France Rose is the French rose at the heart of Invivo's collaboration with actress Sarah Jessica Parker, crafted with a family estate in Lambesc, South Provence, from a blend of grenache, cinsault and syrah. Whole bunch pressed with only a short maceration before a cool stainless steel fermentation, it pours pale pink in the classic French dry style and opens with perfumed aromas of pink florals, red berries, subtle herb and mineral notes. The palate is fresh, vibrant and fruitful, with savoury undertones running through a long, even finish of strawberries, rose petal and fresh herbs. It is a versatile, food-friendly rose built for aperitifs, salads and warm-weather sipping.

Invivo's technical notes describe the 2022 Sud De France Rose as the fourth vintage in the Sarah Jessica Parker collaboration, with SJP personally involved in blending each year alongside Invivo co-founders Tim and Rob. The wine is sourced from the Roy Rene vineyards around Lambesc, Saint-Cannat and Rognes in South Provence, blended from 60 per cent grenache, 20 per cent cinsault and 20 per cent syrah. Invivo notes the grapes were whole bunch fermented with a short maceration for colour and texture, then cool fermented in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation prevented to preserve vibrancy. The producer suggests pairing it with grilled fish, salad, goat cheese or classic French fries with aioli.
