La Vieille Ferme Blanc 2024
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
La Vieille Ferme Blanc is a fresh, silky French white from Famille Perrin, blending Bourboulenc, Grenache Blanc, Ugni Blanc and Vermentino. Ripe pear, white flowers and creamy almond lead into a generous palate, sharpened by lemony freshness and a subtle saline edge. There is enough texture to keep things interesting, yet it remains wonderfully easy-going and ready to pour. Serve well chilled as an aperitif, or alongside seafood, antipasti and relaxed lunches where the bottle is unlikely to linger for long.
What the winery says:
The grapes were harvested at optimal maturity, pressed pneumatically and settled before fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks. The wine remained in stainless steel until bottling to preserve its freshness and aromatic character. Famille Perrin describes a bright pale-yellow wine with green reflections, expressive aromas of ripe pear, pastry, creamy almond and white flowers, followed by a rich, silky palate with lemony tension and a subtle saline finish. Serve at around 8°C with starters or a cold buffet.
