Te Whare Ra SV Rosé is a dry, savoury Marlborough rosé with far more going on than its delicate coral colour might suggest. Pinot Noir leads, with Syrah adding a darker-fruited, spicy edge to lifted strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and floral notes. The palate is juicy yet structured, combining bright acidity, fine grip and genuine texture rather than leaning on sweetness. Grown on Te Whare Ra's certified organic home vineyard in Renwick, it is a thoughtful choice for rosé drinkers who like freshness with substance. What the winery says:

The fruit came from red-variety blocks on Te Whare Ra's certified organic home vineyard and was picked across several days to capture a broad spectrum of red and blue fruit characters. It was hand-picked, hand-sorted, destemmed and given a brief cold maceration before gentle pressing. Cool fermentation helped retain the berry aromatics, while time on ferment lees added texture and complexity. The finished wine is dry, with spring strawberry, raspberry, blue fruit, mulberry, spice, savoury detail and ripe acidity. It was bottled unfined, is suitable for vegans and vegetarians, and may be cellared for two to three years.
