Doom Juice Weiss 2024

Doom Juice Weiss takes its name from a very un-Australian corner of the wine world, a Gewürztraminer, Vermentino and Colombard blend from the same Riverland outfit responsible for the label's cult reputation. Wild-fermented with a touch of skin contact, it's dry with a soft minerality and layers of tropical fruit, apple and citrus running through it. Built for sunny afternoons rather than serious analysis, it's approachable pricing for a wine with this much personality.

Made by Doom Juice from a blend of Gewürztraminer, Vermentino and Colombard grown in the Riverland, this white is wild-fermented with some skin contact, then left unfined and unfiltered, giving it a natural, slightly hazy texture. It's dry with a soft minerality, layered with fresh apple, banana and citrus, and a lingering tropical fruit note. Vegan and organic, it's best served chilled and pairs easily with light seafood, salads or simply on its own.
