Kim Crawford Hawkes Bay Pinot Gris 2025
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Kim Crawford Hawke's Bay Pinot Gris brings juicy pear, nashi and rock melon into a smooth, generous white with soft vanilla spice, fresh acidity and a long, tidy finish. The 2025 is dry and aromatic, offering plenty of ripe fruit while retaining the freshness needed to keep each glass lively. There is enough texture here to make it more than a simple deck sipper, though it performs that job rather well too. Chill it for oysters, ceviche, salmon or a mild cheese platter, and expect a polished crowd-pleaser with appealing shape through the palate.
What the winery says:
The grapes were machine harvested between 10 and 16 March, then gently pressed to preserve their delicate flavours. After clarification, the juice was fermented at low temperatures in stainless-steel tanks using selected yeast strains. The wine was promptly racked off its lees and blended to retain freshness and varietal character. The finished wine shows juicy pear, rock melon and subtle floral aromas, followed by nashi pear, ripe melon, vanilla and spice on a smooth palate with excellent length.
