Jim Barry The Barry Bros Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon gives a classic Australian blend a bright, modern Clare Valley shape. Blackberry, dark cherry and ripe plum are joined by violet, savoury spice and a touch of mocha, with Shiraz bringing the juicy fruit while Cabernet adds structure and a fine, persistent tannin line. It was created by third-generation winemakers Tom and Sam Barry as their own contribution to one of Australia’s most enduring red-wine styles. Generous without becoming heavy, this is very comfortable beside steak, lamb, burgers or anything smoky coming off the barbecue.

Tom and Sam Barry created the wine after returning to the family business, taking inspiration from the ideas introduced by the two generations before them. Their two favourite red varieties are blended to give a contemporary expression of traditional Australian Shiraz Cabernet. Dark berries, plum and cherry are layered with floral notes, spice, subtle oak and savoury detail, leading into a smooth, medium-bodied palate with vibrant fruit and fine tannins.
