What the winery says:

The grapes are crushed and de-stemmed, then fermented on oak for five to seven days before the majority of the wine is matured in stainless steel. Once fermentation is complete, the components are blended, stabilised and clarified to build a smooth, approachable, fruit dominant style. McGuigan sources this fruit from its South Eastern Australia vineyards, where irrigation is essential given the region's low rainfall and high evaporation, and where long, low humidity summers keep disease pressure to a minimum.
