Tempus Two

Tempus Two was founded in 1997 by Lisa McGuigan, a fourth-generation member of the McGuigan winemaking family, with an ambition to create contemporary wines carrying a modern edge in the heart of Australia's Hunter Valley. The label was originally called Hermitage Road, but the name was quickly changed after it emerged that Hermitage carried protected status in France, and Tempus Two, Latin for second time, was subsequently born in its place.

That fresh start set the tone for a brand built on bold, distinctive packaging and flavour profiles quite different from more traditional styles. The Silver Series draws fruit from across the country's premium regions, including the Hunter Valley, Barossa Valley, Langhorne Creek and Adelaide Hills, anchored by a rich Shiraz and a rounded Merlot.
