What the winery says: Grown overlooking the ocean in the dry, windswept conditions of Blind River, the grapes benefit from the region's long sunshine hours while cooling ocean breezes keep the fruit fresher and drier than further inland. Once picked, the grapes are gently pressed and cool-fermented to preserve their natural fruit character, then aged for three months on light lees before bottling. The result is an off-dry style built for early, easy drinking.
