Finca Los Trenzones Tempranillo Crianza 2021

Finca Los Trenzones Tempranillo Crianza is a rounded, approachable Spanish red made from Tempranillo grown in La Mancha. Stewed plum, ripe berries and dark fruit jam meet clove, cedar and balsamic notes, with gentle sweetness from American oak adding warmth through the finish. At least six months in barrel brings spice and structure without overwhelming its generous fruit. Smooth, versatile and easy to enjoy, it is an excellent match for grilled meats, roast potatoes, mushrooms, pasta, tuna, cod and medium-aged cheeses.

What the winery says:

Garnet red in colour with good aromatic intensity. Stewed fruit and jam are joined by hints of clove, cedar and balsamic notes. The palate is fruity and well rounded, with subtle sweetness from the oak and a gentle hazelnut character lingering through the finish. Made from Tempranillo grown in D.O. La Mancha, the wine spends a minimum of six months in American oak barrels.
