Adega De Redondo Terras Lusas Red is a ruby-hued blend of Castelão, Trincadeira and Aragonez grown around Redondo, in the heart of Portugal's Alentejo. The nose opens with a concentrated waft of wild berries, and the palate follows through with ripe red and black fruit laced with floral and herbal notes, held together by soft, rounded tannins that build gently towards a long, lingering finish. It's an easy-drinking style built for young enjoyment rather than the cellar. Adega de Redondo has been crafting wines from this warm, Serra d'Ossa-sheltered corner of the Alentejo since 1956, when fourteen local growers banded together - today around 200 producers contribute fruit to the cooperative.
