Coto de Hayas Roble Tempranillo Cabernet is a smooth, fruit-forward Spanish red from Campo de Borja, combining Tempranillo's ripe raspberry and cherry character with the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon. Four months in new American oak brings a gentle layer of spice and toast, while the palate remains broad, rounded and easy to enjoy, with polished tannins and a lingering finish. Made by Bodegas Aragonesas, it is a versatile, crowd-friendly choice for pasta, rice dishes, roast chicken, grilled pork or firm cheeses.

What the winery says:

Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon are sourced from selected vineyards, with vines around 20 to 25 years old. The varieties are vinified separately, fermenting under temperature control at 28°C before approximately two weeks of maceration. After pressing, the wines are blended and matured for four months in new American oak barrels. The wine is bright cherry red with violet hues, showing clean fruit and oak-derived spice. The palate is smooth, broad and well structured, with rich tannins, a long finish and 13.5% alcohol.
