Famille Paquet Macon Village Nos Cinq Terroirs 2023

Famille Paquet Mâcon-Villages Nos Cinq Terroirs is a generous yet fresh take on Chardonnay from Burgundy's Mâconnais, bringing together richness without losing the lift that makes good Mâcon so easy to enjoy. Expect acacia honey, almond and spring flowers alongside ripe fruit, with a rounded, structured palate and a savoury finish. Famille Paquet has been certified organic since the 2021 vintage, and this cuvée is matured entirely in vat to keep the Chardonnay bright and expressive. It has enough weight for the table but remains very comfortable as an aperitif. Try it with scallops, shellfish, roast chicken or simply a well-filled cheese board.

What the winery says:

Made from 100% Chardonnay, the wine is pale gold in colour with aromas of acacia honey, marzipan and spring flowers. The palate is rich, round, powerful and structured, finishing with plenty of flavour. It is matured entirely in vat for 6 to 7 months to preserve the freshness of the Chardonnay. Famille Paquet recommends serving it at around 13°C, with shellfish such as scallops, veal, poultry or as an aperitif.
