Swift Marceline Sparkling Blanc de Blanc 2023
Case Buys Only | 6 x 750ml
Swift Marceline Sparkling Blanc de Blanc is a bright, bone-dry Hawke's Bay sparkling made entirely from hand-picked Chardonnay. Produced using the traditional method, it brings together crisp green apple and lively citrus with gentle brioche complexity and a smooth, lightly creamy texture. The bubbles feel energetic and refreshing, while a mineral edge keeps the finish clean and focused. It is an excellent local alternative to Champagne for celebrations, but relaxed enough to open simply because the occasion calls for bubbles. Serve well chilled as an aperitif or alongside cheese, cured meats and fresh seafood.
What the winery says:
The Chardonnay was grown in Bay View, Hawke's Bay, and hand picked before being made in the méthode traditionnelle style. Secondary fermentation took place in bottle, with each bottle individually disgorged, topped up and recapped. Crunchy green apple, brioche and mineral notes lead the nose, followed by a medium-bodied, slightly creamy palate with punchy citrus, vibrant acidity and a soft apple note through the finish. The wine is bone dry, refreshing and made for celebrations both large and small.
